Bharati Vidyapeeth which is one of the largest educational organisations in the country was established by Hon. Dr.Patangrao kadam Saheb on 10th may 1964. It started its activities with competitive examination in English and mathematics for school going children with a view to generate interest for these subjects in their minds and improve their proficiency in them. Now Bharati Vidyapeeth is having under its umbrella 80 colleges imparting education in the subjects covered by 12 faculties. Besides theses colleges in Bharati Vidyapeeth also runs 73 Schools including some junior colleges imparting education at pre primary, primary and secondary levels.

While establishing Bharati Vidyapeeth, the founder Dr.Patangrao kadam has mentioned in its constitution that subsequently Bharati Vidyapeeth would be developed into a full- fledged University.

The founder of Bharti Vidyapeeth was very Keen on offering various academic options to the student as well as on providing them education in a very proficious environment. His vision is reflected in the fact that all the campuses of Bharti Vidyapeeth including those of schools are well maintained and every institution has its own building. Bharati Vidyapeeth's institutions have well developed libraries, laboratories, playgrounds, hostels etc. With advanced digitization. All the amenities which are necessary for good education are provided to the students of Bharati Vidyapeeth with a view to develop the potentials they have in such areas as Arts, literature, sports etc.

The track record of success of students of Bharti Vidyapeeth's School in the 10th standard is indeed very enviable. The percentage of successful students in these examinations in almost all the schools of Bharti Vidyapeeth is more than 95%.
